In the UK the minimum age for holding a provisional licence is 17 and you will need to be in possession of this licence before you can start taking lessons. You can apply for the licence up to three months before your 17th birthday however, you will still have to wait until your birthday before you can take your theory test. I believe that safe driving is a skill for life, and that driving tuition should be taught as such which means that I will teach you how to drive - not just how to pass the practical test.

All tuition is on a personal, one to one basis and whether you are a complete beginner or maybe have some driving experience already I will arrange your lessons to suit your needs. You will be taught to drive at your own pace in a way that suits both nervous and confident pupils - there is no strict lesson plan - you only move onto the next stage when you are fully confident.

Free theory test tuition is provided using official Driving Standards Agency mock test papers and I will monitor your progress so that I can advise you when to apply for your theory test. Hazard perception is taught as a basic in every lesson and you can also hire the official Driving Standards Agency dvd for a refundable charge in preparation if you require.
